Mini Superdrug and New Look Haul

Hello beautiful people of the world, I hope this post finds you in good health and if not, get well soon. And to those having  a crappy day, hang in there, it happens to the best of us.

Speaking of crappy days, I had one of those yesterday but I wasn’t about to let it get me down. So, right after dropping off my daughter at nursery, my youngest daughter and I made our way to the high-street for some window shopping (it’s very therapeutic for me, looking at pretty things makes me happy :).

After spending an hour on the high street, my window shopping was more than productive because I ended up coming home with some goodies from Superdrug and New Look (for those not aware, New Look is a South African-owned British global fast-fashion retailer/brand with a large number of high street shops. It caters for both men and women with a variety of products ranging from jewellery, shoes, clothing, perfume and a few beauty products as well). OK OK enough already….I know, let’s get started

SUPERDRUG GOODIES

Flutter MakeUp Sponge- £1 each

I would like to introduce you to my two newly purchased pets, PINKY on the left and FLUFF on the right. Both these puppies are well behaved and don’t ever both anybody, wherever you left them, is where you will find them (that well trained lol).

Whoever thought of this packaging is a genius because they are really cute. These products belong to the newly introduced Christmas range at Superdrug called FLUTTER  (therefore, am not sure if the range is still going to be available after the Christmas or New Year period).

#ProArtist HD EYE FOILS- £5

The eyeshadow is from the FREEDOM PROFESSIONAL LONDON range at Superdrug. Looking from the outside, the eyeshadow looks really good but am very curious about the pigment (fingers crossed, will find out when I review them).

Flutter eye palette- £1

It was really hard for me to believe that this was an actual eyeshadow palette because the outer appearance looked like the cover of a book my 2 year old daughter would want to read.  Having said that, I did not want to write off the palette completely as I have had a £1 MUA single eyeshadow outdo itself.

Let me say this though, the store assistant told me that this particular range is aimed more towards the younger generation/schoolgirls/beginners. I was extra curious to try it out because the shades are neutral and look like they can be suitable for almost anyone. The’re a lot other new Christmas brands being introduced to Superdrug and if interested, it’s worth picking up a Superdrug Christmas Gift Guide;

NEW LOOK GOODIES

New Look is having a 60% off selected lines mid-season sale and it’s definitely worth checking out. I have been a  huge fan of New Look since forever and I love it when they do sales because their products are worth it.

Chokers- between £1.50- £2

Majority of my jewellery I own (if not all) is from New Look and when handles with a lot care, the jewellery is durable. I still have some of the jewellery I purchased way back in 2013-14 and it’s in great condition.

I will review these products sometime soon and get back to you with the feedback.

JEWELLERY I PURCHASED FROM NEW-LOOK 4-5 YEARS BACK

Every piece of New Look jewellery I own was purchased on sale, I don’t think I ever ever purchased any for the full price. And every one of them was under £4, never above that. Ever since I noticed how good their sales were years back, I always wait until a sale to purchase any jewellery from them.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post, have a blessed week.
