Hello beautiful people of the world, I know it’s been a minute but am back with another exciting (well, at least for me) post. Today, I will share with you my top 5 £5 and under red lipsticks and this will be done in no particular order.
I absolutely love these lipsticks as a collective because they have a lot of qualities in common of which includes;
- Price point is great (super affordable)
- They are very pigmented
- The colour payoff is great
- Application is effortless
- Very moisturising (MUA Shade 13)
- Non-drying (Freedom pro lipstick- Noir Twilight, Sleek lipstick- Russian Roulette and PS Super Matte Liquid Lipstick- Kylie)
- Lasts long (PS Lipstick and MUALUXE lip lacquer have the longest lasting effect
The only lipstick that a few received complaints is the MUALUXE lip lacquer in the shade firecracker. People say that it can be a bit drying but it’s nothing a good lip moisturiser can’t solve (apply moisturiser before lip lacquer)
MUA Lipstick (shade 13)- £1
(Once you run out, you can always unscrew the bottom as it comes with a bit extra)
Freedom Pro Lipstick (Twilight Noir)- £5 or £1
(This lipstick costs £5 but it cannot be purchased on its own as it’s part of the ”noir mattes collection” pro lipstick kit from the freedom professional london makeup range. Therefore, It works out to be £1 for each lipstick, check out the following images below).
NOTE: Unlike the MUA lipstick, the bottom of the freedom pro lipstick does not unscrew.
Freedom Pro Lipstick Kit- (Noir mattes collection)
Sleek Lipstick (Russian Roulette)- £4.99
PS Super Matte Liquid Lipstick (Kylie)- £2
The liquid lipstick is Primark’s own makeup brand and it can only be purchased instore.
MUALUXE Lip Lacquer (Firecracker)- £3
LIPSTICKS- Rolled Up and Out
(L-R MUA lipstick shade 13, Freedom Pro lipstick- Noir Twilight, Sleek lipstick- Russian Roulette, MUALUXE Lip Lacquer- Firecracker and PS Super Matte Liquid Lipstick- Kylie)
If anyone is interested, all lipsticks aside the PS super matte liquid lipstick can be purchased from the superdrug website or in-store (freedom makeup london range is limited to certain stores and if you can’t find any online or in-store, check tambeauty.com).
Has anyone ever used any of the above lipsticks?….OR come across them but wasn’t sure of the performance? If so, I would love to know your thoughts and opinions in the comment section.
Thank you very much for stopping by and taking the time to read my post.I wish everyone a productive and fruitful WEEK.
UNTIL NEXT POST……….
